REGINA STUDIO UPDATE

Hey Wheelpack,

Nearly eight years ago, Wheelhouse started in Central’s Underground Vault. That foundation is where we first felt the magic of this community and where the heart of the Wheelhouse experience was born. It was also the spark that led to two more studios and a global community on Wheelhouse Live.

As you know, these past three years have been challenging for all of us. We went through countless rounds of lockdowns and you were with us every step of the way, and I can’t thank you all enough. But as the world continues to change and a “new normal” shakes out, we’ve made an incredibly difficult decision: We will be closing our Central location and the final day will be on Sunday, September 25.

I promise you this is a decision we didn’t make lightly, and we did absolutely everything in our power to avoid it. There are two reasons we made this decision:

First, Central is eight years old and as Wheelhouse has grown, so have our standards. It needs a fair bit of work to live up to the experience we want to create.

Second, we lost something six years ago when we opened a second studio in Regina. Our community grew but we were spread out over two studios. Bringing everyone back under one roof will let our team pour everything into creating one busier and more vibrant community.

My ties to this studio run deeper than just a business or just a building. It’s where my wife and I had our first “date” and drank warm Coors Light while I gave her a tour and told her about our dreams for this space. It’s where I developed deep, lifelong friendships. It’s been the cause of countless sleepless nights and moments of pure joy. It’s where I truly feel I grew up as a person, business owner, partner, and friend. I know these experiences are a reflection of the memories you’ve built at Central, too.

I’m biased but I believe Wheelhouse serves an incredibly important role in the Regina community. This decision makes sure we can occupy that space for years to come and continue riding together, to the beat, and harder than ever.

A new schedule at East is up now and booking goes live at noon. We have more rides on the schedule, more bikes in The Vault, and a lot more in store in the coming months.

The future is bright.
